About This Project
From Nichie: As a designer, there is perhaps nothing as fun or as tough as creating work for yourself. When my wife and I married last year after being together for 15 years, I wanted to design something special for our big wedding celebration—something that felt like “us.” To honor all our years together, I crafted a screen-printed wedding invitation that told the story of us. Incorporating visuals, text and a few inside jokes, the colorful and bright design was a personal reflection of our journey to that very happy day. The slightly rustic aesthetic was also incorporated into the interior design of our venue—a rustic barn that housed good food, good beer and the best of family and friends.
